Sites like Patreon have helped pave the way for creators to thrive, but faith-based creators have unique needs when it comes to community and monetization. Innovative faith leaders and digital missionaries moved to social media platforms during the pandemic to try and disciple a generation of Christians living through these challenges, yet we know that there are real limitations to social media in this space - inconsistent reach, ephemeral community, negativity, divisiveness are just a few.Īt the same time, creators are yearning to be empowered and finding new ways to monetize, engage and own their community.

The majority of young (millenial and GenZ) Christians are now accessing their faith online. Church membership has declined to an all-time low in the US, yet the number of Christians continues to increase.

During the course of these three years, the faith space has changed dramatically. It’s been a personal journey (first-time CEO), a professional journey (leading a company through the pandemic) and a spiritual journey (faith has always been personal to me, but now I lead a very public faith-based company).
